BIODEGRADABLE STOOL PROTOTYPE

Biopolymer Stool represents a cultural shift toward a revitalized relationship between the production of materials, objects and our environment; a closer connection of aesthetics, personalization, and engagement with our natural world. Most consumer products’ lifecycles are delineated between design, fabrication, and the eventual consumer’s use and disposal of that product. The process we have undertaken with this design seeks to disrupt that cycle, creating a stool prototype made of organic materials and designed to be easily biodegraded and composted.
