Our fabrication research project, 'BIOGel', anticipates a near, very real future in which ecologically engaged materials are imperative if we are to reach an equilibrium with our environment. This project foresees a point at which the availability of desktop robotics allow biomaterials to be custom designed, printed, and composted in the same home.
