CARBON SEQUESTERING CERAMIC AND BIOPOLYMER TILES
DESIGNED TO ACT AS NATURAL AIR FILTERS
Bio Tiles are a ceramic and plant-based cladding system designed to aggregate on unused wall or ceiling space and act as natural air filters.
Composed of recycled ceramic cores, Bio Tiles are laminated in plant-based biopolymer gels formulated to capture and store airborne CO2 and improve air quality. Once used, the outer laminate of Bio Tiles can be composted, easily breaking down and returning the captured CO2 to the earth where it is naturally stored within the soil structure.
Bio Tiles are molded in multiple tile types with various depths and color combinations, allowing these tiles to achieve a graphic, textural quality which make them suitable as an interior finish. Their hard ceramic cores make the tiles robust and capable of being deployed on a larger scale, replacing traditional architectural materials with natural ones with the unique ability to enhance our environment.
